Reflection:

Writing this paper gave me a lot of insight into the use of rhetoric in a speech. Through this project I have learned how necessary it is to use a balance of ethos, logos and pathos in order to establish the best credibility with your desired audience. I have learned about how important it is, as a citizen, to be involved in making the changes you want to see in the world. Without making an effort to do your part, whether that be by educating others, practicing solutions in your daily life, or posting about issues, you are not allowing the world its best chance at being what you want it to be. Improvements aren’t possible if everyone isn’t doing their part to make a difference. By doing this project, not only was I able to learn more about something I am passionate about and be educated further on the effects of ethos, pathos and logos, but I was also given the opportunity to discuss the article, and therefor spread valuable information to my own audience. This was an opportunity to influence others to understand feminism in perhaps a way they hadn’t before.
