When I deciding a minor, I thought about what I wanted to get my masters in.  My goal is to get my masters in Speech Therapy, so I thought  pursing a minor in Psychology would be the best for it. With Psychology I am able to learn about how children develop and how children develop speech issues. I am currently taking a Developmental Psych class. In this class I am learning about how children develop cognitively and how they can develop speech impediments. By taking this class, it will aslo help me understand how to help children with correcting their speech issues.  I am also taking a Social Psychology class. With this  class, it is teaching me how people including children act in social situations. Taking this class, is helping me understand how children who are developmentaly delayed could act differently in social situations.
