Early Childhood Development Seminar (Spring 2016), Farmville, Virginia – 6 hours
This was a program arranged by Longwood professors, for Longwood professors. I worked as care taker for their children, and provided activities for them. The ages ranged from 3 years of age, to 10. Some of the children also had certain disabilities. For example one of our younger children had a reading disability.
Piedmont Geriatric Hospital (Spring 2016), Burkeville, VA – 6 and a 1/2 hours
I was a volunteer for Piedmont Geriatric Hospital which takes care of older adults age 65 and over who are afflicted with multiple disabilities. For now we are in charge for transporting the patients for certain events. I have also been trained in the Training Options of Virginia program.
The Virginia Home 5K Walk (Spring 2016) Richmond VA – 3 hour
This was a charity fund raiser in which volunteers ran along side some of the Virginia Home residents. I was tasked with monitoring one of the numerous checkpoints and the runners.
Longwood Pool and Lab Practicum (Spring 2017) Farmville VA – 20 hours
This one one of the most in depth programs I worked for (which would later become Healthy Innovations). Over the course of the semester I was tasked with monitoring one to three children. I assessed them, wrote goals, objectives and leisure plans for them, and then evaluated them to make sure they were meeting the goals properly.
Chesterfield Parks and Recr (Summer 2017 and 2018) Chesterfield VA – 88+ hours
For the summer of 2017, I was tasked with the inclusion of an assigned child. The activities provided had to be in lone with the child’s goals. Otherwise, the job had me planning activities for large groups based on certain themes and monitoring the children for assured safety.
Healthy Innovations, formerly Longwood Pool Practicum (Fall 2017, Spring 2018) Farmville VA – 30 hours
Not much changed in this program compared to the original Pool and Lab Practicum.

The Virginia Home (Summer 2018) Richmond VA – 5 hours
This work had assigned residents, in which I visited them and completed tasks per their request. This ranged from assisting in cleaning living spaces to teaching residents about new games.
