Anthropology 101 (Honors)

Dragons Around the World PPT

DragonsAroundTheWorld

These two files were my final project for my Anthropology course. We were told that we could choose any topic we wanted as long as it pertained to anthropology in some way. By studying the myths of dragons around the world, I was able to study a common facet of many cultures and compare them. At first, a ten page paper and a twenty to twenty-five minute presentation seemed like a lot, but as I started working, my passion for the topic allowed me to easily meet the requirements. Not only did I learn more about my favorite animal (dragons), but I also learned about the cultures they were involved in. I also learned useful research, writing, and presentation skills, all of which will help me when I become a teacher.
