This was one of the first pieces of writing I did after starting my first semester at Longwood University. Even from the very beginning, I knew that there would be requirements and expectations set for me, both by teachers and by myself. LSEM helped me get a handle on these requirements and expectations, as I was given the chance to write out my thoughts and figure out where I fit and what I needed to focus on. I know that maintaining my drive and focus will be important, or else I will fall behind and I might not be able to reach all of my goals.
