Our Spirit Week started off with an exciting visit from our friend Elwood as well as friends from Longwood Athletics to celebrate Little Lancer Day!

The children were thrilled to meet Elwood! We took turns giving him hugs and high fives to welcome him.

We gave Elwood a tour of our school, showing him all of our favorite places and activities. We spent time with him in the piazza, working with our tempera sticks and playing with sand.

We also showed Elwood our Movement Studio and even taught him one of our favorite dances, Koo Koo Kangaroo’s “Milkshake.”

We then read some of our favorite books, including Pete The Cat and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Tomorrow we will have a Pajama Day! Please wear your pajamas and bring in a stuffed animal friend.
