During my Freshman year, I really wanted to get out and help people more.   My first experience really doing community service or helping my community in a major way was during the Honors Leadership Retreat when we helped to renovate the ASPCA center near FarmVille.  I really liked doing this, and generally, I quite enjoy helping people in any way I can.   Since then, I volunteered to be at the Honors College table during a Longwood Preview event in the fall, I volunteered to help with check-in during a preview day for Longwood for the Honors College along with doing room and suite tours and doing an informal Q & A, and I am also a volunteer for the 2018 Cormier Honors College Leadership Retreat this fall.
