A community is a group of people that all have a common interest or belief. One community that I am part of is the honors college. The honors college provides a place where a student can become a citizen leader and work with the local and campus communities. A community that I helped form isn’t an official club, but it is my friend group. There are eight of us and we all have some connection to a science. It may seem strange to call a group of friends a community, but I believe we are one. I am also a part of the Society of Physics Students. There the physics students can congregate, discuss physics, help on homework or other materials.
