Longwood Seminar

You know, personally, when I look back at this course, there doesn’t seem to be much to highlight. However, our community outreach field trip was pretty fun to do – we went to a local state park called the Holliday Lake State Park and helped clear away some of the roots and leaves on the trails and take down an event tent. It was definitely a teamwork experience to say the least; not only did it require effort on all of out parts to take down the huge tent and its rigging, if there was a root on the trail that one person’s tool couldn’t take care of, someone else in the group with a better-suited tool chipped in to help. I had fun, no doubt, even if my hands were a bit sore from hitting roots with so much force! That’s probably the most memorable part of my LSEM course.
