My name is Chase Quinn. I am part of the Class of 2020. I am a business management major with goals of becoming a lawyer. After I graduate from Longwood University, I plan to complete the Business graduate program and follow that with attending Regent University for my law degree.
I graduated from Grassfield High School in 2016 with a strong desire to pursue soccer at a Division One level. I redshirted my first year due to ankle injuries. My freshman went by fast as a made a lot of friends which many I still can count on today. I met professors, and I grew close to a few through the process. I started my freshman year planning to be an Accounting Major. Through the influence of Dr. Marks I changed to Business Management with the plan of always get a minor in economics.
My sophomore year I saw the field for the first time at school. I played and started against the number two team in the nation at the time, Wake Forest. This was a school I want to apply to for law school. I played 52 minutes. Throughout the rest of the season I played a total of 111 minutes. School became more challenging has a began to devil into upper level business courses. Around early September, I had my eyes set on traveling aboard to Thailand with Dr. Marks. This turned to be a turn experience of a lifetime, that I lived to the fullest. It was a constant go with many things being seen. I learned of differences in developing worlds compared to the US, and how other cultures depend so largely on tourism compared to manufacturing.
