This portfolio while showing the things I have learned from this class, also displays the knowledge I have learned about writing and viewing writings critically and the different aspects they use to persuade or sell a story. I plan to use these skills to increase my writing in my creations of animation to drive story and develop characters. This connects with in particular rules 2 and 3 of the course learning outcomes:
-understand the nature of public discourse/debate as determined by purpose, audience, and context
-choose appropriate formats in writing for a variety of purposes.
-engage in the process of citizen leadership by investigating multiple perspectives on important public issues
While the other rules have an impact as well, these three rules stuck with me the most and I feel I gained the most with my choice of career. Learning these two rules will give me an advantage in writing with animation and how to drive emotions with dialogue.
