My experiences as a volunteer EMT really jump started my interest in the healthcare industry, especially the ability to prevent disease simply through the development of a healthier lifestyle. This is why I chose to major in Health Promotion. On the other hand, this summer I had the opportunity to intern in the corporate sales industry and I absolutely loved it. My strong communication and leadership skills helped me succeed. I believe my strong academic record coupled with solid leadership, collaboration skills, health promotion knowledge and experience working in healthcare will provide me the platform to pursue a career in medical sales.
As a competitive sales rep, I will promote medical device sales by forging relationships with physicians, hospitals and managed healthcare organizations. In addition, through one-on-one sales presentations, group discussions and educational programs, I will presents the latest in medical news and treatment programs.
