Before coming to college, I was extremely worried about the challenges ahead and falling behind in academics. I had no idea what to expect. In my first year at Longwood, I feel that I have learned so much already, as well as the value of having good time management skills and finding activities to keep me motivated. I have always wanted to be an elementary school teacher, and this goal drives me to make my education a top priority and to work diligently. I believe finding a career you are passionate about motivates you to work hard in order to achieve your goals.
