ODR Empowers
Presented by Dana Kieran
The Office of Disability Resources designed and implemented a three day orientation program , ODR Empowers, to help first year students with disabilities transition into the university setting. The purpose of ODR Empowers was to provide students with disabilities the opportunity to learn about campus resources, learn how to navigate making decisions on their own, build rapport with the Office staff, and ultimately become more confident advocating for themselves in the post-secondary setting.
