Building Relationships with Incoming Freshmen for Better Understanding and Preparation of College Ready Students

Presented by Rebecca Sturgill

This project was an assessment of the recently initiated 12 Community program.    The 12 Community is a rewrite of the College PLUS program, which began in 1996 and continued through last year.    With this program,  contact is made earlier, via email, phone and webinar with both students and families, thus students no longer have LSEM with the Center for Academic Success Director and her staff,   and students no longer take the special version of ENGL 150-PLUS (with co-curricular support).
