Turn Up Student Success

Presented by Stacey Wilkerson

The question of the effect of alcohol use and binge drinking on a student’s college academic success  has been studied  nationally.  At Longwood, there is especial interest in researching the effect of this behavior on students’ academic success during their first year experience as well as assessing the student awareness and effectiveness of current resources. In this presentation, Longwood’s Director of First Year Experience and Family Programs shares results and plans for future research.
