Teaching writing is not an easy thing to accomplish and it is critical to have an immense amount of patience and understanding. I will always try my best to understand my students and really take the time to work them through their issues. I will always strive to make a comfortable and safe learning environment where all my students can share their thoughts freely and without hesitation. All students are unique and learn in different ways, so differentiation is very important in order to ensure that each student can reach their full potential. Group work is also important for students to effectively collaborate with each other. This is an important quality for students to have in the future because they are always going to be working around other people. Exchanging information with each other can expand their knowledge and enhance their ability to look at things with multiple perspectives. I will always have high expectations for all my students, no matter their academic standing. Having high expectations helps students develop higher self-efficacy. This is crucial to ensure that students strive to reach their full potential. I am also always eager and enthusiastic to try new and creative projects. I don’t want my students to dread going to my class because I truly believe students learn the best when participating in fun and entertaining activities that interest them. I will do my best to change things up, so my students never become accustomed to the same thing. Thank you for your time!
