Along with a brochure, our group wrote a press release that informed the public about our “new invention,” the Neuro-Cam. Like the brochure, the press release corresponds with the second, fourth, and sixth course learning objectives. Press releases are designed to be brief, to the point, use plain language in order to be reader-friendly for virtually anyone (2nd Course Learning Outcome). By completing the press release, we practiced using the AIDA format that evokes attention, interest, desire, and action from our audience. We also learned how to properly format and design a press release (4th Course Learning Outcome). Our team worked diligently together to complete the final product that is attached below (6th Course Learning Outcome).
