Hello! My name is Annie Thrasher, I am currently a senior at Longwood University.  I am a History major with a concentration in Secondary Education: my life goal is to teach High School History to students in impoverished areas.  I am a member of the Cormier Honors College at my university as well.  Being in honors allows me to challenge myself in academics and gives me a community of likeminded people in a university filled with diversity.

I am also a sister of Alpha Sigma Tau, whose open motto “Active, Self-Reliant, and Trustworthy” I live by daily.

When I am not actively participating in academics or my sorority, I can be found reading or painting in my apartment, or at home in Henrico, Virginia with my two dogs and family.
