EDUC-245-50-Human Growth and Development

Human Growth and Development was a course required for my major, but I was also able to take the honors section to get one of my classes out of the way. This class focused on the way a child develops from conception to adolescence. We learned about physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional development. We also learned about different theorists and the theories they came up with. This course was taught by Dr. Dorothy Cosby. I loved this class because there was never a class where we would exclusively be sitting at our desks, Dr. Cosby always had activities and visual ways of teaching us a specific topic. At the end of this class, I was shocked at how much I learned about development.

Below is my Three Ages Project presentation. We interviewed children from each of the age groups ( Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, and Adolescence) and compared the way they answered.
