I took this class as my first honors credit. In this class, we learned about what social innovation was. A large part of this class’s work was independent as we collaborated with students from the Netherlands to create an idea for a social innovation. My group chose to create a program that allowed students to obtain their associate’s degree while in high school, but in a way that was affordable and accessible. We presented our idea at the end of the semester to the professors and my American partner and I also presented our idea at the end of the semester at the poster session.
