One of the memorable experiences I had in LSEM was when the class went to Holliday State Park for our community outreach trip.  We were each given tools to help remove roots and other obstacles from the trails. It was an exercise of teamwork and cooperation, as one team member would often need assistance from another who had a more effective tool. The trip also encouraged altruistic service to the community.
