Goal 7: History of Western Civilization (HIST 110)

This class was the first to introduce me to the workload that is expected of college students. The reading assignments were hefty at first, but then I realized that I really enjoyed reading about history. I also enjoyed having the freedom to select which time periods I wanted to write about for our assigned essays. Unlike high school, I was interested in my essay topics every time because I selected them myself. Overall, this class allowed me to explore my interests through the assignments in a way that was not offered to me in high school.
