I took this class during the fall 2018 term, Historical Inquiry II with Dr. Newton. I did not enjoy the class terribly much, but most of that boils down to the fact that I dislike history because I’m terrible at remembering names (hence my computer science major). I did write an AWESOME paper for this class (the attached one) that I’m still actually proud of. I only ended up with like 5 marks on the whole thing when I turned in my rough draft. This was the first major paper I had to write in college, and thus it was nice being able to see where I am at in terms of my paper-writing abilities.

Inquiry into Citizenship

CTZN 110 8/28

This is an assignment that I did during my Citizen 110: Bodies and Citizens class during the fall 2018 term. This was actually the transcript for a video I made, but I cannot upload the video due to the maximum upload size allowed by this blog. It was describing how Native Americans were viewed by Europeans based on how they depicted the Native Americans in their art. It was actually a pretty interesting assignment, and forced me to look at something differently than I otherwise would. The entire class was interesting, and although it was not the seminar I wanted to be in, it ended up being a very good class for me, as I not only was forced to look at things through new perspectives, but I also met someone who was in the same major as my minor is.
