For this pillar, I took Theatre 101: Issues in Theatre during the fall 2018 term. This was the first theatre class I had ever taken (including in high school), so it was a heck of an experience. I had to learn everything from scratch basically (that is what 101 classes are for though), which was both fun and challenging. The class was worth it, I had a lot of fun not only learning about theatre, but also going to two different shows put on by Longwood, as well as making my own children’s theatre show. I would attach the script of the show to this post, but I don’t have it anymore, I think it got lost in the depths of the spring semester. What’s attached though is a reaction to one of the shows I went to go see that Longwood put on, a show called No Exit. It was a good show, and it was completely student lead and run.
