Reflection

The brochure assignment required my group and I to make up a product to sell. My group decided on a lawn mower that mows the grass by itself. The name of the product was called the Solo Mower. Throughout the completion of the brochure student outcome number four and six were achieved. Student outcome number four states, “create professional documents that use design principles.” The brochure assignment requires my group members and I to learn how to design the brochure in a way that is appealing to the eye of the readers. We learned to use colors in order to bring a pop of color that contrasted the white. We also learned when to bold items, use bullet list, and when to use paragraphs. Student outcome number six announces, “participate productively in collaborative projects.” The brochure assignment required me to work with two other classmates. This allowed me to collaborate and work as a team in order to complete the brochure. This assignment taught me not only how to use design principles but also taught me how to work well with other people. These are skills that I will take into my future career. Teamwork is an important skill to have in any job. Being able to work well with others will allow you to do well in a workplace that requires collaboration.
