Hello! My name is Kelsey Whitlock and I will be receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work at Longwood University in May 2024. I decided to major in Social Work because my lifelong passion is to help people. As I am compassionate about children, I hope to work with children who have disabilities and/or developmental delays. I know firsthand how it is to have a disability, so I want to be able to advocate for them. While completing my undergrad degree, I interned at Danville Pittsylvania Community Services, which gave me hands on experiences with children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.
