Letter to Senior Self

In four years when I am a senior, I hope that I will be graduating with an undergraduate degree in liberal studies with a concentration in elementary education.  I also hope that I will have applied to the Elementary and Middle School Mathematics graduate program here at Longwood University, or be accepted into it already.  One day in the future I hope with that degree that I will be able to be an elementary school teacher who can become the head of the math department, be a math specialist, or become a math tutor for students.  At this point in my life, I hope that I have also gotten to experience everything I have wanted to at Longwood University.  As of now I want to be able to join more organizations such as peer mentors and/or mortar board, and be able to hold leadership positions within the two organizations I am a part of now in my freshman year.  I also hope that I will have strived to have gotten the best grades possible throughout my time here at Longwood University (hopefully I can make Presidents list one day as I have gotten so close to getting it each semester so far).  Lastly, I hope that my senior self would have had a blast at Longwood and have truly fell even more in love with education as Longwood has one of the best education programs out there to prepare future teachers!
