This ePortfolio is a compilation of everything I have learned in English 400 with Dr. Guler. My journals, rhetorical analysis, and Common Good Project are all proof that I have gained knowledge and experience with the course objectives. I engaged in the process of citizen leadership through my Common Good Project, analyzed artifacts for my rhetorical analysis, and learned more about debate through my journals. I will use these skills when I become a middle school English teacher. Analyzing my student’s papers will be a big part of my job and I feel like I’ve learned a lot from this class and I can’t wait to use these skills in the classroom. Another important thing I’ve learned would be the researching skills I’ve gained. I will be able to look at multiple sources in the future when looking for information and be able to find what I’m looking for because of what I’ve learned.
