The independent variable for the chi-square table above was enjoyment, measured on a scared from 1-10 (1-5 being less enjoyment, and 6-10 being more enjoyment). The dependent variable for the chi-square table above was engagement, measured on the same scale of 1-10 (1-5 being not engaged, and 6-10 being engaged). According to the results, there were 4 participants that reported they were not engaged and reported to have less enjoyment. Additionally, there were no participants that reported they were not engaged and reported more enjoyment. On the other side, there were 16 participants that reported to be engaged, but reported to have less enjoyment. Additionally, there were 56 participants that reported to be engaged, and reported to have more enjoyment. In total, there were 4 participants that reported to be not engaged, and 72 participants reported to be engaged. The chi-squared statistic for this table was 8.1513**. There is a significant difference between the categories at the 0.01 level.
