Welcome back to another beautiful week here in Farmville, Virginia! In this week’s blog, we will be featuring another VLOG. In this week’s vlog, I will be showcasing a hidden gem in Farmville. The Highlight Zone is a Hair Cuttery and Salon located at 120 4th St. in Farmville, Virginia. Rodney Burley is the owner of The Highlight Zone and is a talented artist also. I wasn’t able to mention it in the vlog, but I will here in the blog! Rodney has been painting and creating things since high school. He is a talented painter and can paint anything on anyone. During my freshman year, Rodney turned me into an alien. This past halloween, Rodney and Sarah turned me into my annual “Grandma Helen” that I started as a funny halloween costume. Rodney takes great pride in creating realistic characters in everything that he creates on someone.
