Disciplinary Procedures

Any employee who is involved in any violation of any rules, regulations, etc. within the Sunrise Recreation Center, a meeting with the manager will be set to discuss further actions. Below is the general discipline procedure:

1st violation= Verbal Warning 

2nd violation= Written Warning where signature of employee/manager will be made (put on record)

3rd violation= Suspension/Termination of Employment 

*On a situation basis

Types of Offenses (but not limited to)

  • Theft
  • Vandalism/destruction of equipment
  • Under the influence (alcohol, drugs, etc.)
  • Sexual harassment
  • Poor attitude
  • Consistent tardiness/absence
  • Discriminatory behavior 
  • Failure to enforce policies (safety, surveillance, facility rules, etc.)
  • Charged with a student conduct violation
  • Others as deemed necessary by management
