Teaching Philosophy

All students come to school every day in similar ways. They take the bus or get a ride from their home and enter school. All students look to Teacher’s to guide their excitement of learning. It is a teacher’s job to foster a sense of community, safety, and equality in their classroom. It is also a teacher’s job to find the most equitable and differentiated ways to teach their students in order for them to learn. A teacher’s classroom should be a place for students to become engaged, make discoveries, work cooperatively, and become active learners in their education.
