The Office of Student Research offers awards up to $500 for single researchers, $1000 for co-researchers and $1500 for research groups with three members to defray costs associated with engaging in student research, including materials and conference travel. Undergraduate Student Funding supports Goal 3 of Longwood University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), “to improve student learning by advancing an understanding of the importance of disseminating the results of research in academic and civic communities.” It specifically supports Action 3.2, “provide grants for undergraduate research and/or presentations at conferences.”
