Collaborative Interdisciplinary Tutorials for Employment (CITE)

CITE is a fall-semester research program that introduces undergraduate students to the research process and provides an opportunity to gain practical skills sought by employers. Students receive an $1800 stipend. CITE is a partnership between The Office of Student Research and Citizen Leadership and Social Justice. CITE supports Goal 1 of Longwood University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), “to improve student learning by promoting their discovery of new knowledge through research.” It specifically supports Action 1.2, “make available a faculty-guided summer undergraduate research program in all disciplines.”
