To create a good survey you need to make sure you choose the right question form the first form is an open ended question that is a survey question when the respondent will answer in their own words. The other form is a close ended survey question where the respondent will check a box provided to answer. When constructing a good survey question it is important to make sure the question is clear, to avoid double barreled questions (questions with more than one question in it), and the respondent is willing and able to answer the question. It is also best to keep your questions short and to the point as well as avoiding biased and loaded questions. After creating your questions it is important to set up your questionnaire properly to do so the format should have a uniform format, one question per line, and clean looking. Appearance is key; having a good looking survey helps the respondent respond and stay engaged. The final thing to think about in a good survey is the order of your questions that depends on the survey itself and personal opinion but it is a good idea to keep the ordering of your questions in mind.
