After graduating from Longwood University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, I will be pursuing my Master’s in Social Work on a Clinical Advanced Track at Virginia Commonwealth University. During my time at VCU, I plan to engage in internships to further develop my clinical social work toolkit. Post-graduation, with my Master’s degree, I aspire to specialize in clinical social work within the criminal justice and legal sectors. My passion for mitigation work was ignited during my undergraduate senior internship at a public defender’s office, and I am eager to reenter this field. Concurrently, I intend to pursue licensure to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) while gaining valuable experience in the field.
