School Culture:
School culture is built through forging positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater school community. Families should integral members of the school and engaged through special activities, meet the administrator events, and opportunities for families to participate in their children’s school. Engagement with teachers and staff should occur daily and can include morning greeting in classrooms, classroom check-ins, and participation in PLCs. Student engagement can occur through involvement in school clubs and events, positive approaches to behavior, and participation in student routines such as bus duty or lunch duty.
