In Tim Harrower’s article for blogging there is a lot of information for media and blogging. As well as laying out the formula and layout of a blog post. Tim Harrower had a layout in the chapter where he points out different parts of the of a blog post. Explaining the elements and breaking down the different parts that are part of creating a good blog. All the key elements are broken down and pointed out in an example blog post.
I picked RSS feed. It is one of the elements that is part of being a key component in a normal blog post. I have never heard about an RSS feed which made it stick out to me more. As well as having letters which made me interested in what it stood for. RSS feed was pointed out on the section of the key components of a typical blog post. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. The RSS is an icon is on your blog and when someone wants to keep up with your blog, they can click on them to be updated. This makes it so when you post your readers will get blog update on the spot. This allows people who follow you to stay up to date with your blog. So, they do not miss anything. It is smart because it makes the reader stick with you and build a bond.
Having an RSS in your blog post after reading about it a great idea. It allows people to keep up with you and your blog. Which is getting people’s attention to remember to read your blogs. If people like what you are posting, they will continue to read and connect. Though people get busy and forget or get bored. The problem with people being busy and forgetting to read your post is solved though if you have the RSS in your blog post. This allows the reader to be updated automatically. If readers get bored with your blog that is also solved. If readers are reading your blog post on the regular, then it allows them to get connect. It creates a bond the reader makes because they are invested in you and what you have to say. Having a RSS seems to be a great element to include in your blog post to allow yourself to get more readers and connect more.
