The main variables that are being examined are the students’ attitudes towards the new COVID-19 policies implemented for the fall semester of 2020. The student’s views were recorded as being beneficial, or non-beneficial. The Independent variable that was being tested was the new COVID-19 policies. The dependent variable was the students’ opinions of these policies. These polices interfered with their normal college experience and caused some students more harm than others. The T-test that was conducted had a total of 294 students who voted “beneficial”, and 127 students who voted “non beneficial”. The mean value for each of these categories is listed in the second column in the table above. The T value for both these samples was –2.3148. This shows a significant different within the two samples.
