In your course syllabus, you need to indicate how students will improve or benefit from taking the course.  Student Learning Outcomes or SLOs indicate what the student should know and/or be able to do as a result of this course.  At Longwood, the Course Objectives are the same as Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs).  It is important the the SLOs are aligned with course activities, course assessments (e.g. tests, writing assignments), and course instruction.
