CENTRA SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL:

The hospital opened in 1927 and is located on Oak Street.

CENTRAL VIRGINIA REGIONAL LIBRARY:

Located on the banks of Wilck’s Lake, the Farmville branch has book and DVD collections and regular events for adults, children, and families. In the summer there is a movie at 2:00 on Fridays.

FARMVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT:

The airport is located just outside the town, and it plays host to community events. It has a 4,400-foot runway and offers 24/7 fueling, agricultural spraying, and search and rescue activities.
