The dependent variable for this ANOVA was engagement of the family. This was asked on a 0-10 scale. The independent variable for this ANOVA family enjoyment. Respondents were given a scale of the enjoyment of the activity of “0-10. 0=Not at all, 10=a great amount”. The mean enjoyment for low enjoyment was 2.0 out of 10. The mean enjoyment for moderate enjoyment was 6.6. The mean enjoyment for High enjoyment was 8.1 out of 10. The ANOVA results (F=11.3***) there is a significant difference between the means. Therefore, family enjoyment does influence family engagement.
