This photo took place during an SMS team meeting. District 9 is split into teams of 4-5 officers. The teams meet once a month for an hour and we discuss topics such as organization, work habits, self-care, workplace etiquette, and other important topics. During meetings, team members are allowed to ask questions, staff, and bring new ideas to the group without passing judgement. Outside of meetings, the teams are able to be used as a support group and typically used for staffing difficult cases.
