To use the iNaturalist App, follow these steps:
- Download the app and join the Longwood BioBlitz by searching for the group under the ‘Projects’ tab.
- Explore! Find something in nature, take a picture of it, and save it.
- Under the ‘Observe’ tab, select photo library to upload your picture. A screen should pop up labeled ‘Details.’
- Edit your observation. You can look up the species by name, add notes, etc. Make sure to keep your observation in the Longwood BioBlitz group under the Projects section.
- Finally, share! You can edit and revisit your observations under the ‘Me’ tab on the app.
