9:15 a.m.  Welcome and Introduction of the Experts. Get to know our experts and their areas of expertise.

9:30 a.m.  Client Expectations and Setting Goals  A roundtable discussion with our experts on how to talk with clients in order to determine their needs and wants, developing event-based goals, and how client expectations dictates how an event or meeting is planned.

10:00 a.m.  Managing Budgets  Learn how to set up a budget spreadsheet for an event, the typical categories to include, the importance of reserving monies, and discuss how budgets are living, flexible entities.

11:00 a.m.  Break.

11:15 a.m.  Discussion with Our Experts  Get to know our experts, their experiences in event and meeting planning, and ask them questions about the industry.

12:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided.

1:00 p.m.  Contracting with Vendors  Learn the ins and outs of contracting with vendors to set up meeting spaces, food and beverage options, lodging, and technology a/v needs.

2:30 p.m.  Break.

2:45 p.m.   Creating an Event Timeline  How do you manage your event or meeting? This session will give insight on setting up a working timeline for running your event. Learn what to include, proper formatting, and how to use it as a guide for implementing your event.

3:30 p.m.   Marketing and Branding Your Event  A successful event is driven by how you brand it and market it. Learn about strategies and tactics for successfully promoting your event to the right key publics in order to make it a success.

4:15 p.m.  Reception.
