Spring 2020 Semester has been very interesting. Before COVID-19, I thoroughly enjoyed student teaching. I was placed in a fourth-grade class and through this experience, I have learned that I have a love for upper elementary grades. In my experience of being a fourth-grade pre-service teacher, I have:

• Constructed lesson plans for all four subjects of a fourth-grade class.
• Administered pre and post-assessments to measure student growth over the course of a topic or subject.
• Collaborated on a professional learning community with the fourth-grade and special education team to ensure the growth and equity of students’ education. 
• Enforced a behavioral management plan for distracted students.
• Participated in parent teacher conferences to discuss student progress and/or concerns.
• Created inquiry-based lessons to encourage the students to learn through experience and take responsibility of their own learning.
