I am a soon to be Longwood Graduate, with an aspiration of a career in wildlife conservation. I will be graduating in the fall of 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. At my time at Longwood I have participated in many classes and activities that have greatly helped me on my way to a career in conservation. Some notable classes being plant biology and conservation biology, but also my internship through the Cumberland County State Park as a park guide, in which I learned the true art of interpretation and managing of lands. Through these classes I have learned to importance of form and function of different animals and how to take these into consideration to help create and implement a variety of management plans and educational programs.
