The dependent variable for Chi-Squared was enjoyment of the activity. This was tested on a 0-10 scale. The independent variable for this Chi-Squared was the highest degree of education completed in the household. Respondents had options by selecting “High school”, “Some college”, or “College degree or higher”. The mean engagement for high school was 6.00. The mean engagement for some colleges was 7.00. The mean engagement for a college degree or higher was 10.00. According to the Chi-Squared findings  (X= 61.88***) there is a significant difference between the means. As a result, educational status impacts child engagement.
