The dependent variable for this ANOVA was enjoyment of the activity. This was examined on a 0-10 scale. The independent variable for this ANOVA was the highest degree of education. Respondents selected either, “high school”, “some college”, or “college degree or higher”. The mean engagement for high school was 8.00. The mean engagement for some colleges was 9.00. The mean engagement for a college degree or higher was 10.00. Based on the ANOVA findings (F=18.95) there is a significant difference between these means. For this reason, education level influences child engagement.
